Frequently asked
What teams ask before committing to a tier. Every answer is grounded in the current product surface — no roadmap claims.
- What is included in the Free tier?
- Free covers one personal workspace, public plugins from the Harbor registry, the hrbr CLI, basic run tracing, and the cli-mcp stdio adapter. No credit card is required during early access.
- Why is Workspace pricing in private beta?
- Pricing is being calibrated against actual usage of orbit runtime primitives (storage, cache, db, ai) and per-tool authorization volume. Contact us to get an early-access quote and lock in beta pricing.
- What does Enterprise add beyond Workspace?
- Enterprise SSO (SAML 2.0 and OIDC), a custom plugin registry scoped to your org, audit log access, per-tool policy governance, and dedicated dispatch isolation for Orbit jobs.
- Do I need a paid tier to use the Harbor MCP server?
- The first-party MCP server at mcp.tryharbor.ai/mcp uses OAuth 2.1 + PKCE and is reachable from the Free tier. Team-shared OAuth grants and per-tool authorization live in the Workspace tier.
- How are credentials stored?
- Credentials live in a workspace-scoped, encrypted secret store. Agents never see raw tokens; the host resolves a tool handle to the right credential at call time. Rotation and revocation happen in one place per workspace.
